LeWahla: Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

Last updated: September 18, 2026

LeWahla was previously published as Sanadi. The app and its operator are unchanged; only the name is new.

This notice is for residents of the State of Washington. It describes how LeWahla LLC handles consumer health data under the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373), and it is separate from our general Privacy Policy because that act requires it to be.

Our general Privacy Policy still applies to you in full. Where the two say anything different about consumer health data, this notice governs.

What consumer health data we collect, and why

LeWahla is a mood and journalling app, so most of what you enter is consumer health data under the act. We collect it to provide the app to you, and for nothing else. We do not use it for advertising, we do not profile you with it, and we do not sell it.

• Mood and track levels you record, which may include anxiety, depression, alcohol, drugs and self-harm, together with any note you attach.
• Journal entries and thought records you write.
• Habits and custom tracks you create, including their names.
• Skill and exercise sessions you complete, and your check-in history.
• Messages you send to the AI companion.
• The fact that you use a mental-health app at all, which the act treats as an inference about your health.

Where it comes from

From you, and only from you. Every item above is something you typed or tapped inside the app.

We do not buy consumer health data, we do not receive it from data brokers, advertising networks, or other apps, and we do not derive it from your device, your location, or your contacts.

What we share

We share one category of consumer health data, and only for as long as it takes to answer you:

• The text of your AI-companion messages, at the moment you send one.

Nothing else is shared. Your journals, moods, track levels, notes and history are not disclosed to anyone outside the service providers listed below, who store them on our behalf and may not use them for their own purposes.

We do not sell consumer health data, as the act defines a sale, and we have never done so.

Who we share it with

Service providers acting on our behalf, under contract, and prohibited from using your data for their own purposes:

• Google LLC, which hosts the app's database, sign-in and notifications.
• Groq, Inc., which generates the AI companion's replies. Your message is processed in memory and is not retained, your name and account are not sent with it, and Groq is contractually prohibited from training any model on it.
• Vercel Inc., which runs the server that passes your message to Groq. It is not stored there.

LeWahla LLC has no affiliates, so there are none to list.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, for example under a valid court order, and to protect someone's safety in an emergency.

Consumer health data is stored in the United States.

Your rights, and how to use them

Under the act you may:

• Confirm whether we are collecting, sharing or selling your consumer health data, and get a list of the third parties it has been shared with.
• Withdraw your consent to our collecting or sharing it.
• Have it deleted, including from our backups, and we will tell our service providers to delete it too.

Two of these you can do yourself, immediately, inside the app: Settings > Export My Data gives you everything we hold in a portable file, and Settings > Delete Account erases it. Withdrawing consent is also in Settings, and because your consent is the reason we are allowed to hold the data at all, withdrawing it deletes the data rather than merely switching something off.

For anything else, or if you would rather we did it, email support@lewahla.com. We will respond within 45 days, and may take up to 45 more if the request is complex, in which case we will tell you why before the first 45 days are up. There is no charge.

If we refuse a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal. If we then deny your appeal, you may complain to the Washington State Attorney General at https://www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.

Things we do not do

Stated plainly, because the act asks about each of them:

• We do not sell consumer health data.
• We do not use consumer health data for targeted advertising.
• We do not operate a geofence around any health care facility, and we do not collect your location at all.
